INSIDE OUT TREE-TRUNK BENCH
This inside out bench presented in April 2018 during the Salone in Milan. Completely useless but interesting. If you saw a tree exactly lengthwise into four pieces and you glue it back together inside out, you have a straight beam, so maximum efficiency and quarter wood around. All things you want; little throwing away, a nice grain structure, a good story but a lot of work and therefore actually nonsensical. So the tree was our Salone theme in 2018.
