Linda Nieuwstad

Linda Nieuwstad was born in Middelharnis in 1974. After studying Social Geography and Town and Country Planning at Utrecht University, she chose for the arts in 2001 and she went to the AKI in Enschede. She received positive comments by the Volkskrant on her exam exhibition and in 2005 she was admitted to the Sandberg Institute. In 2006 Linda had her first solo exhibition at De Kunstvereniging in Diepenheim and she won the Aanzet! award, an award for young visual artists from the Overijssel and Gelderland provinces. Linda Nieuwstad has many exhibitions in the Netherlands and she gives workshops and lectures and makes commissioned art works.
