Call for entries Dutch Design Week Expo: October 22 – 30, 2022

We are organizing the Designer Exhibitions at Piet Hein Eek again during Dutch Design Week 2022. Do you want to exhibit at our place? Don’t wait too long and send your preference by e-mail before June 30, 2022: claudia@pietheineek.nl. Please consider the following before signing up for the selection procedure:

The event space will probably be renovated before the Dutch Design Week. The exact floor plan will be announced later, the square meters below are the same as last year:
– Exhibition units from 4 to 20 m2 in the event space
– One large exhibition space in the office space
– One large space in the showroom
– One large space in the workshop
– Places outside and around the building
The office, showroom and workshop areas are located at the main entrance and are fully visible through large windows. It is also possible to have an exhibition space outside and/or around the Piet Hein Eek building or a small presentation near a wall. As in previous years, access to the building is free. PR and communications
Your name and project will be included in our communication, online and on location. During the Dutch Design Week we invite national and international contacts. Press from all over the world will be visiting us as well.

What do we ask from you?
– You are allowed to sell your work directly at our location and no extra costs will be involved.
– We expect each participant to ensure that the stand is continuously manned. Visitors should be able to be informed as well as possible.
– All participants are required to sign up at the Dutch Design Week organization, in order to gain more visibility. The call for entries at the DDW organization runs until June 30, 2022.
Selection procedure
We will study each application and make a selection from the submissions we receive. We will select on creativity and originality and we prefer designers who make and sell their product themselves, because it fits within our own concept. We will do our very best to let you know as soon as possible if you have been selected to participate. When you have registered and the application has been approved, you will receive, in addition to an official confirmation, more detailed information regarding participation at Piet Hein Eek during the Dutch Design Week.
Prices
A rate of €100.00 per m2 applies for the event space (excluding 21% VAT). If you reserve a unit before July 1, and have paid 50% of the payment, you will receive a discount of €5.00 per m2 (excluding 21% VAT). Full payment must be made no later than September 30, 2022. We have adjusted rates for the other locations.

– Workshop 50 m2 (€8500)
– Office space 60 m2 (€13,000)
– Space next to FRIES 60 m2 (€600)
– Platform (in consultation)
