DDW 2014: Domino disaster

For those too young to remember the era of the Dutch comedy duo ‘Van Kooten and De Bie’: a domino disaster is where one disaster follows another. A few months ago we opened the Wonder-room. At the time I still assumed that this would be enough to make a good impression during the DDW. The first visitors’ reactions quickly showed us that they found the Wonder-room fantastic, but that they thought the show room, where nothing had been changed, lowered the tone somewhat and clashed with the Wonder-room. We couldn’t ignore the criticism, so instead of being ready in good time and being able to concentrate fully on production, the whole place has been turned upside down again in order to create the most beautiful presentation ever. And all this at a time when we’re supposed to be saving money. So it’s a domino disaster, but one that involves creating rather than chaos and destruction.

 

Opening hours during the  DDW:

Sat 18 October t/m Sat 25 October: 10:00 – 21:00
Sun 26 October: 10:00 – 18:00.
