An evening of sensory delights in Piet Hein Eek’s unique Grand Caf\u00e9. Immerse yourself in a full evening program where gastronomy and music go hand in hand, an experience you will remember for a long time.<\/p>\n

Join us at the long table in the canteen of Piet Hein Eek’s Grand Caf\u00e9 for a dinner to remember. In four courses, you will be introduced to the finest products from Eindhoven and its surroundings. These hyper-local delicacies are carefully curated by Chef Erling, who works with ingredients produced within a 45-kilometer radius of the restaurant. The suppliers themselves will explain the ingredients, so you can’t get any closer to the source.<\/p>\n

During dinner, the music will take you on a journey of sounds that stimulate the senses. The program will open with Traditional Finnish Faster Funny by Lasse Pihlajamaa, performed by Janne Valkeajoki (accordion), a work full of humor and playfulness. This is followed by a piece by Jean-Philippe Rameau, performed by Janne, which brings to life the sophistication of the French Baroque.<\/p>\n

The highlight of the evening will be the Storioni Festival’s new production, La revue de cuisine by Bohuslav Martin\u016f, performed by the Storioni Trio and featuring Alain de Rudder (trumpet) and Andreas Langenbuch (clarinet). Thom Hoffman will lead as narrator through the humorous and culinary work, in which the flavors of music mingle with the world of cuisine.<\/p>\n

Between courses and during dinner you can count on spontaneous musical interludes that will add an extra dimension to your culinary and cultural adventure.<\/p>\n
