DESCRIPTION:This year we will again organise a Designer Exhibition at Piet Hein Eek. Are you a designer and do your project and design philosophy fit within our concept? Then apply now for our Designer Exhibition. Send your preferences and a pdf of your project to claudia@pietheineek.nl before 30 June. \nPlease consider the following before applying for the selection process: \nThe Spaces\nIn the event space and in our showroom\, we have the same spaces this year as last year. \n· Space 1\, 2\, 3\, 13\, 14 en 15 (9m2)\n· Space 4 en 5 (17m2 – greenhouses)\n· Space 6 en 7 (20m2)\n· Space 8\, 9\, 10\, 11 en 12 (9\,5m2)\n· Space 16\, 17\, 19\, 20\, 28\, 29 en 30 (4m2)\n· Space 18 (6m2)\n· Space 21\, 22\, 26 en 27 (4\,5m2)\n· Space 24 (3\,7m2)\n· Space 25 (5\,1m2)\n· Space 31 (window)\n· Space 32 (18m2)\n· Space 33 (85m2) \nClick on the floor plan below for an overview of the spaces. The red spaces are sold\, the yellow spaces are put on hold and the green spaces are still available. \n \nThis year\, in addition to the spaces in the event space and in the showroom\, we have also created a number of spaces in the two new studios next to our Grand Café. These spaces can be reached by their own front door. \n· Spaces 34\, 35 and 36 (5\,4m2)\n· Space 37 (5\,2m2)\n· Spaces 38\, 39\, 41\, 42\, 44\, 45 and 46 (4m2)\n· Space 40 (3\,5m2)\n· Space 43 (6m2) \nClick on the map below for an overview of the spaces. The red spaces are already taken\, the yellow spaces are under option and the green spaces are still available. \n \nWe also have a number of studios available. These are located next to our Grand Café and next to our chip shop FRIET. The studios have several floors. Square metre price for the studios is also €105.00. We have the following studios available: \n· Atelier A1 (21m2 ground floor (sold) and 12m2 first floor)\n· Atelier A2 (21m2 ground floor (sold) and 12m2 first floor)\n· Atelier A3 (48m2 ground floor and 29m2 first floor)\n· Atelier A4 (in option) (44m2 ground floor\, 32m2 first floor and 20m2 second floor) \n \nLike last year\, other spaces are also available in and around our premises. The office\, showroom and workshop areas are located near the main entrance and fully visible through large windows. It is also possible to create an exhibition space outside and/or around Piet Hein Eek’s premises. As in previous years\, access to the premises is free of charge.  \n  \nThe prices\nA rate of €105.00 per m2 (excluding 21% VAT) applies to the spaces in the event space and the rear part of our showroom. If you reserve a space before 1 July and pay 50%\, you will receive a discount of €5.00 per m2 (excluding 21% VAT). Full payment is due no later than 30 September. Adjusted rates apply to outdoor locations and locations elsewhere in the building. \n· Temporary art gallery 85m2: €10.000\,00\n· Workshop 50 m2: €10.000\,00\n· Office 50 m2: €13.000\,00\n· Outside space next to FRIET 60 m2: €600\,00\n· Station (in consultation): €50\,00 per m2\n· Conference house 18m2: €1.500\,00 \n \nApplication\nTo apply for the Designer Expo\, send an email to claudia@pietheineek.nl with the following information: \n· A pdf file with the work you want to present\n· A description of your presentation\n· Your preference for one of the spaces offered by us\n· A description of how you plan to arrange your space \nWe will study each application carefully and make a selection from the submissions. We will of course do our utmost to let you know as soon as possible whether you have been selected for participation. Once you have applied and the application has been approved\, you will receive\, in addition to an official confirmation\, more detailed information regarding your participation at Piet Hein Eek during DDW 2023. \nIn the meantime\, arrange your registration with the DDW itself as soon as possible. This is because if you don’t do this before 16 June\, you will not be included in the communication of the Dutch Design Week itself and you will therefore not appear on their map. This does not benefit the visibility of your project\, so make sure your application to DDW is completed!

Floris Burgers and chefs Gina and Bloeme will prepare a special 6-course dinner and an unforgettable evening. DESCRIPTION:After the absence of international design events\, more than 20 Eindhoven designers and Design Studios – including Piet Hein Eek – have joined forces to collectively present new works. \nThe aim of #Design Open is to offer buyers\, interior designers and architects\, museums or galleries\, media and collectors\, the first opportunity to experience new design productions in an intimate\, work-in-progress and surprising way. \nThis creative community intents to come together for the sake of design and to connect their professional networks by sharing a date\, opening hours and online map. \nTo encourage and support the young generation\, new works by recent Graduates of Design Academy Eindhoven will be on display at several locations. \nHow does it work? \nCheck the online map on www.designopen.nl to simply see the Open Studios and create your own route! DESCRIPTION:After a completely virtual edition in 2020\, this year we are aiming at a physical Dutch Design Week! If you would like to exhibit at our place\, please do not wait too long and send an email to Pim Hoff: pim@pietheineek.nl\, preferably before the 30th of June. \nPlease consider the following before signing up for the selection procedure (please note: there are some changes compared to last year): \nWe offer the following: \nExhibition units from 4  to 20 square meters (or a multiplicity of this amount) in the events space and two large exhibition spaces of 75 square meters in the office space and 50 square meters in the workshop respectively. Both spaces are located next to the main entrance and fully visible through large windows. For more information and the prices of these rooms\, please contact Pim Hoff directly. \nIt is also possible to create an exhibition space outside our premises and/or around the property of Piet Hein Eek. DESCRIPTION:The Young Designers and Small Studio Exhibition of the previous DDW was again a great success. Therefore we will organize it again. If you would like to exhibit at our place\, please do not wait too long and send\, preferably before June 30th\, an e-mail to Pim Hoff: pim@pietheineek.nl. \n \nPlease consider the following before signing up for the selection procedure: \nWe offer the following: \nA unit of 3.75 (d) x 2.40 (w) meters with a total of 9 square meters (or a multiplicity of this amount) in the events space. \nIn addition to our events space\, also this year our second floor Wonderroom space will be available for participants to exhibit. Here we rent units of varying sizes (varying from 12.5 to 25 square meters\, or a multiplicity of these amounts).  \nIt is also possible to create an exhibition space outside and/or around the property of Piet Hein Eek. The call for entries at the DDW organization has been extended to mid-July. The participant fees for designers at the Dutch Design Foundation are substantially lowered as of 2017. \nYou can also apply for the ‘design rides‘ and present your initiative free of charge during the DDW and gain more exposure.   \nWhat do we ask from you? \nA tarriff of € 90.00 per square meter (excluding 21% VAT) applies. \nWe will study each application thoroughly and make a selection from the submissions we receive.
