Positive times

21-04-2016

I often have to explain at parties that the amount of attention you receive is not necessarily proportional to your success or prosperity. Not that we’re complaining, but we should really be very well-off by now (and that is very slightly the case) if you look at the publicity we get. Recent years have marked a rather dark period for us. The team grew and despite the enormous motivation of the majority of our employees, the lack of structure ultimately became a bigger problem. We are also a production company so everyone should be working efficiently.

At one point, almost everyone was happy as long as the products were made and the way in which they were made was not a topic of discussion. Slowly but surely everyone became convinced of the necessity for efficiency and the results started turning round. What’s great is that when people work more quickly and efficiently, they also become happier and also receive more credits! You could write a whole book about the process, but right now, everyone seems to be enjoying it!
